Richard Serbeh

Richard Serbeh is a Lecturer in the Department of Geography and Rural Development at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. His areas of expertise include urban geography, participatory development, environmental management, migration and development, development economics and institutions and development. His scholarly work explores the influence of space on participatory development, migration (outcomes and aspirations), the convergence of technology and financial inclusion, and the human-environment relationships, highlighting their sustainable development implications. Richard is keenly interested in play-based learning, specifically focusing on the intersection between urban spatial development and children’s play spaces.
