Dr. Richard Kyere Asomah is a lecturer in the Department of Teacher Education at the University of Ghana, Ghana, where he also serves as the coordinator for final year students’ Project Work, guiding students in their capstone projects. His academic journey began with a three-year Teacher Training College program (Teacher’s Certificate “A”), followed by a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education (B.Ed. Mathematics) from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. Dr. Asomah furthered his expertise with three postgraduate degrees in Mathematics from the same institution: MSc (Mathematics), MPhil (Mathematics Education), and PhD (Mathematics Education). He has several published research articles in peer-reviewed journals, contributing significantly to Mathematics and ICT Education research. Dr. Asomah serves as an examiner and has mentored many MPhil Mathematics Education graduate students to successful graduation, raising the next generation of educators. His research focuses on bridging theoretical rigor with practical application with emphasis on cooperative learning. Additionally, he plays a pivotal role in curriculum and professional development, Design based research studies, educational technology, instructional modelling and training, advancing Ghana’s educational landscape with a focus on innovation and excellence.
