Dr. Christopher Yaw Kwaah

Dr. Christopher Yaw Kwaah is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Education, University of Cape Coast (UCC), Ghana, with expertise in teacher education, ICT integration in learning, and child development. He holds a PhD in Curriculum and Teaching from UCC and serves as Vice Dean of the School of Educational Development and Outreach, as well as Coordinator of the Educational Research Unit. His work focuses on advancing instructional quality and promoting sustainable, technology-enabled approaches to teaching and learning. Dr. Kwaah has contributed to major national and international initiatives, including OpenSTEM Africa and the multi-country Teacher-Led Learning Circles for Formative Assessment (T3LFA), supported by Education International and the Jacobs Foundation. He also leads Ghana’s participation in the Jacobs Foundation LEARN initiative, in collaboration with New York University and Universidad de los Andes. His honors include an EQUAL Fellowship from Global TIES for Children at NYU and recognition from the IRC’s Airbel Impact Lab. He is a prolific researcher and active contributor to educational policy and practice.
