I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Linguistics at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), Ghana. She received her MPhil (Applied Linguistics) at the UEW, Ghana and her PhD in English with an emphasis on Applied Linguistics at the Texas A&M University, Commerce, USA. Her research focuses on the interplay between prosody and discourse, Issues in TESL, Academic discourse, and the Phonology of English as a lingua franca. She teaches courses such as World Englishes, Second Language Acquisition, Second Language Writing, Second Language Teaching, Research Methods, and Pragmatics. Currently, she is the Dean, Faculty of Foreign Languages Education at UEW.
